Lakshadi Guggul is a treasured classical Ayurvedic formula specifically prescribed for bone fractures, osteoporosis, and joint degeneration. The star ingredient is Guggul (Commiphora mukul) — a resin with potent osteogenic (bone-building) properties — combined with Laksha (resin of the Lac insect), an unusual ingredient rich in calcium and proven to accelerate fracture healing.
The formulation also includes Asthishrinkhala (Cissus quadrangularis), Nagabala, and processed Shankha bhasma (conch ash) — a bioavailable form of calcium that Ayurveda has used for centuries to remineralise bones.
Take 2 tablets twice daily with warm milk and a teaspoon of ghee. Optimal results with 3–6 months of consistent use.
